Movie Day!

I'm going to the movies today with my best friend Billie.  I can't even remember the last time I went to the movies.  We're going to see Red.  It should be really good.  It's got an amazing cast.  I'll give my review later.


For the third day in a row, the "hot water" is just slightly better than lukewarm.  UGH!


Annie and Nigel are already awake and playing tag.  They are so cute together.  I'm so glad that they chose us to come live with.

Another Busy Day Ahead

I always look forward to Wednesdays.  Wednesdays are my day to volunteer with S.T.A.R.T. II (Save The Animals rescue Team II), a local no kill animal rescue group.   Every Wednesday, my best friend Billie and I go to our local Petsmart, and work in the Pet Adoption Center, with the current cat residents.  We clean cages, give the cats fresh water, empty litter pans, and socialize (aka play) with the kitties.  It's impossible to have a rough day with a purring kitten or cat in your arms.


Wednesday is also the day when Billie and I run any errands that we didn't get done on our regular errands day.  This morning, we're going to have breakfast at our favorite diner.  The only thing better than a good breakfast, is not having to cook it yourself!


Speaking of breakfast, I'd better give Annie & Nigel theirs, or one of them will be stepping all over the keyboard to get my attention.

Good Morning!

It's still blustery today, but at least it's stopped rainy.


Woke up late (almost 10 am!), so all of the kitties (Annie & Nigel, our 2 inside cats,  and Tiny & Freckles, 2 of the stray outside cats that I feed) were a bit miffed.  They've all had their breakfast now and have gone off the their post breakfast nap spots.  I don't know where Tiny & Freckles go, but Annie is now sound asleep in the laundry wagon, and Nigel is snoozing peacefully on the couch.


Today is one of my busy days.  A busy day is a day when I have stuff to do outside the house.


Tuesday is is food shopping day.  That means a trip to Walmart and BJ's.  I'll work on the shopping list after I wake up a bit, and take my shower.


Oh well, off to have some breakfast, take my shower, and work on the shopping list.  Do you need anything while we're out?

It's A Winnie The Pooh Day

It's a rainy, blustery day outside today.


People are trying to walk with umbrellas and are almost getting blown off their feet.  


I'm glad that we don't have to go anywhere today.


Tomorrow is shopping day, and hopefully it will be a bit drier and less windy.

I didn't fall sleep until almost 4 am, and I'm wide awake before 7 am.


Either I'm going to need a nap somewhere along the line today, or I'm going to turn into a very unhappy camper.


I wish I could sleep like Nigel. 


That cat can go from wind sprints to a coma in nothing flat.

I debuted a new angel design today.


Her name is Lass.


She's a Scottish angel.
